The FYDAD Research Group (Training, Development and Teaching Activity) (Group Code: HUM-1017) is recognised by the General Directorate for Universities (Regional Ministry of Economy, Knowledge, Business and University) of the Andalusian Regional Government. This group was born from the will of several professionals linked to the Faculty of Education at the University of Granada. The main objective is to investigate issues related to initial teacher training and development.
The elements that unite the research group are:
- We share an interest in research, training and advice for teachers.
- Under the same institutional framework, we work together and provide mutual assistance, commitment and collaboration.
- The interdisciplinary nature favours an integral vision of the variables and key aspects surrounding Teacher Training, Development and Activity.
The research group complements its work with the external reinforcement of colleagues and experts belonging to different institutions and collectives, providing improvement and productive quality at a scientific and academic level.
The tasks of the research group are varied and include the following:
- Research.
- Specialised teaching in the thematic area of the group.
- Training of researchers.
- Maintenance of the equipment assigned to the research line.
- Updating of the basic methodologies and techniques in the line of research.
- Dissemination and transfer of knowledge.
- Representation and links with the national and international scientific community.
During its years of existence, the group has become consolidated, it is an active group with relevant production in the field of its subject matter. The group is currently developing an active strategy of projection with the aim of gaining visibility, recognition and prestige, which contributes to its growth and positioning in its field.
